Psalm 139:16-17 NLT “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!”

LET’S TALK
There are those who hold back from yielding themselves completely to the Lord. Deep inside, they fear that if they let Him take the lead, He may alter the course of their lives in a way they are not comfortable with. They have nurtured personal dreams, visions and ambitions for years, and they are concerned that fully following Jesus might mean letting go of those cherished aspirations.

But only those who do not know Him think that way. Because they have not truly come to know Him, they struggle to trust Him. If you ever truly get to know Jesus—His love, His character, His thoughts concerning you—you would never hesitate to surrender to Him. You would trust Him joyfully, knowing that all He ever desires is the best for you.

He said in Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV UK): “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Think about that! His plans are to bring you into prosperity, health, peace and progress. Nothing in His plan is intended to hurt or diminish you.

It brings to mind those precious words in 3 John 1:2 (NKJV): “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” This is His desire for you: to see you excel and function in His grace, glory and divine health. His dream is more glorious than anything you could ever envision for yourself.

That is why He gave you His life, His righteousness, His glory and His Name. He brought you into oneness with Himself so that you can live triumphantly above Satan, sin, sickness, disease, infirmity and death. Do not be afraid to trust Him. He knows you better than you know yourself, and He loves you more than you could ever imagine. Let Him guide your life, and He will make something eternally beautiful out of it. Glory to His Name forever!

Righteous Father, thank you for your unwavering love and perfect plans for my life. I trust you completely, knowing that your plans are to prosper me, give me hope, and secure my future. I choose to follow your guidance, confident that I’ll always live a life of joy and fulfilment, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
