TO THE BIBLE: 1 Timothy 6:20 NKJV
“O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge—”

LET’S TALK
Do you realise you are God’s witness to your generation? You are not here by chance. The moment the Holy Spirit came into your life, power was deposited in you to represent Jesus in your world.

Acts 1:8 NKJV says: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me….”

That means you’ve been chosen and empowered to be a voice for the Gospel: to your friends, classmates, family and everyone around you. You’re not ordinary; you’re Heaven’s ambassador, sent with a divine message.

The Apostle Paul understood this. He said in 1 Timothy 1:11 NKJV, “…the glorious gospel…was committed to my trust.”

That same glorious Gospel has been committed to you. God has trusted you with the message that saves. It’s not just for you to celebrate; it’s for you to share.

Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit…” (John 15:5 NKJV). In Christ, you’ve become a fruit-producing branch. That’s true success: being fruitful in the Kingdom.

Paul also told Timothy, “Guard what was committed to your trust” (1 Timothy 6:20 NKJV). The word “committed” in the Greek is parakatathéké, meaning a deposit. You’re full of divine seeds: seeds of life, hope, and truth. And God expects you to plant them everywhere you go.

You’re like a living investment from Heaven, designed to bring light to your generation. When you make soul winning your priority, everything else aligns in your life.

The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 NKJV, “…Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” As you put the Gospel first, every other thing others struggle for will be added to you.

You’re not running after things; they’re running after you. So, shine your light. Speak boldly. Let the Gospel flow through you. You are God’s voice, His light, His witness, sent for such a time as this.

Dear Father, I thank you for entrusting me with the precious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I recognize the responsibility and honour it is to be a witness to my generation. My life is a testament to your love and grace, producing lasting fruit for your Kingdom. Thank you for the privilege to serve and represent this glorious Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
