Heed The Call Today

Accept What Christ Has Done

Teen Student Male

Romans 4:25 AMPC “Who was betrayed and put to death because of our misdeeds and was raised to secure our justification (our acquittal), [making our account balance and absolving us from all guilt before God].”

LET’S TALK
The final day of the year is like the last note in a great symphony. It echoes with memories, decisions, and divine promptings. It invites reflection but should not be the kind that breeds regret. Rather, it should beckon you to look again at what Christ has done and receive it with all your heart.

Too many approach the end of the year weighed down by guilt, striving to “make peace” with God by personal effort. But hear this: peace has already been made. The sacrifice has already been offered. The work is finished.

Jesus was delivered for our offences and raised for our justification. His resurrection was not just a divine miracle; it was Heaven’s declaration that the price was paid in full. Now, when you believe in Him and declare His Lordship over your life, you receive eternal life. You are born again, not as a refined version of your old self, but as a brand-new creation in Christ Jesus.

The new man in Christ has no past. He was not forgiven; he was recreated. He has no record of sin. He is not trying to be righteous; he was born righteous, created in true holiness. This is the miracle of justification. Yet it must be accepted. Revelation does not profit the one who refuses to act on it.

As this year comes to an end, the Spirit of God urges you: accept what Christ has done. Let today be the day you cross from darkness into light, from death to life. If you have never made Jesus the Lord of your life, turn to page 76 and say the Prayer of Salvation now.

Before the new year dawns, respond to His call and receive Him into your heart.

Pray
Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of my brand-new life in Christ. I celebrate the truth that I am a new creation in Him, with old things completely passed away. I fully embrace my new identity and live in the fullness of eternal life that you have imparted to me. I declare that I am justified and empowered to live righteously, free from any past struggles, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
