TO THE BIBLE - 1 John 5:20 NKJV
“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.”

LET’S TALK
The Lord Jesus Christ is Himself the true God and eternal life. This is exactly who the Messiah was meant to be. For generations, the prophets proclaimed His coming. And when Jesus came, declaring Himself to be the Christ—God manifested in human form—many rejected Him, accusing Him of blasphemy. But He was right!

Titus 2:13-14 NKJV reveals Him as “our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.” No other religious leader in history matches these credentials. They all lived, died, and remained in the grave. But Jesus Christ rose again! He ascended into heaven alive, and today He reigns forever.

Only His Name carries divine authority and power. In His Name, devils are cast out, the sick are healed, the blind see, the lame walk, and even the dead are raised. Through Him alone comes the remission of sins. Acts 13:38-39 NKJV declares, “through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.”

The testimony of Scripture is clear: eternal life is found only in Him. 1 John 5:11-12 NKJV says, “And this is the
testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

This is the Gospel: He gave His divine life so that you might have eternal life. And now that you’ve received Him, you’re no longer an ordinary human being. The God-life has supplanted the natural life within you. John 1:12-13 NKJV says, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

He gave us eternal life because He’s Himself eternal life. Jesus is the true God and eternal life. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation of the deity of Jesus Christ and the power in His Name. I live in the consciousness of His authority, exercising dominion over the forces of darkness and manifesting the victory of Christ in all that I do. I declare that my faith is effective, and through His Name, I enjoy unending success and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
