TO THE BIBLE - 2 Corinthians 5:20
“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

LET’S TALK
The Lord Jesus entrusted us with the responsibility to preach the message of His Kingdom in all the nations of the world. In Matthew 28:19-20, He said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

He also said in Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Who’s going to preach this message of the Kingdom in all the world for a witness unto all nations? It’s us! We’re ambassadors of the great Kingdom of God. We’re the bearers of the message of the Kingdom. We have something to give and bless the world with—the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul’s mentality in 2 Corinthians 5:20 encapsulates this truth: “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.” You speak in Christ’s stead because you represent Him and His message. He told us to speak in His Name as His representatives.

Therefore, wherever you are, Christ Himself is there. When people receive you, they receive Him, and they receive His blessings through you: “He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me” (Matthew 10:40). How glorious this is! Take your place as the ambassador of Christ, a legal representative of the Kingdom of God, and bless your world.

Dear Father, thank you for making me your ambassador, a legal representative of your Kingdom. I speak in the Name of Jesus, bearing the blessings of the Kingdom to my world. I declare that through me, lives are transformed, and many are reconciled to you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
