TO THE BIBLE - 1 Corinthians 2:9–10 NKJV “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’ But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.”

LET’S TALK
Maya thought she knew the hiking trail well, but when the sky turned grey and the path disappeared in the shadows, panic set in. Her phone had no signal—no map, no help. Then she remembered the small flashlight her brother told her to pack “just in case.” She clicked it on. The beam was small, but it was enough. One step at a time, it led her home.

As a child of God, you’re never meant to be in the dark about anything. You can know what to do, where to go, and how to handle anything because God has given you His Spirit. The Bible says, “For one who speaks in a [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God... because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].” —1 Corinthians 14:2 AMPC.

When you pray in tongues, you’re speaking mysteries—truths your mind may not know yet, but your spirit does. That’s how God brings light to your heart.

Maybe you’re unsure about a decision, your future, your health, or a tough situation. Don’t panic. Start praying in tongues. As you do, there’ll be an unveiling in your spirit. The Lord Jesus said, “…He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12 NKJV). You can know all things. The light of God is in your spirit (Proverbs 20:27).

You don’t have to be in the dark about anything. Not your relationships. Not your goals. Not your purpose. The Holy Spirit is in you to help you understand, live, and enjoy life to the full. As you fellowship with Him, speaking in tongues of the Spirit, He’ll guide you to take specific steps in line with God’s plans for your life. Hallelujah!
