The Indwelling of the Word

God's Focus is His Word in Your Spirit

Sparkler

TO THE BIBLE - Acts 20:32 NKJV
“So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”

LET’S TALK
When you pray and ask God for things, remember this: God’s greatest desire isn’t just to give you material possessions like money, a car, or a house. His focus is on something far more important: filling your heart with His Word.

As you grow in the knowledge of who God is, you’ll begin to realize that everything you could ever need has already been given to you in His Word. Look at what the Bible says in 2 Peter 1:3: “…His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.” This truth transforms how we pray. When you understand that God has already provided what you need, prayer becomes more than asking for things. It becomes a time of fellowship with your heavenly Father.

Think about how Jesus lived. He never walked around worried about what He lacked. He wasn’t concerned about whether His needs would be met. He lived with confidence in the Father’s provision. What a glorious way to live. 1 Corinthians 1:9 reminds us: “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

You have been brought into a divine relationship with Jesus. And if you are one with Him, what could you possibly lack? Everything you need—whether for your future, your calling, or your everyday life—has already been made available through His Word. The key is to have the Word of God dwelling in you richly.

The Lord Jesus said, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things...” (Matthew 12:35 NKJV). Then Paul said, “...we have this treasure in earthen vessels…” (2 Corinthians 4:7 NKJV). This treasure is the Word of God stored in your heart, which has the power to produce or create anything and everything you need. Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly….” So, meditate on the Word; confess it and let it shape your thinking. Hallelujah!

PRAY
Dear Father, thank you for the treasure of your Word that dwells in me richly. Every good thing I need flows from within me. I walk in the consciousness of abundance and live above lack because of the fellowship I have with Jesus Christ and my oneness with Him. Amen.
