Extensions of His Righteousness
His Righteousness is Fulfilled in Us

TO THE BIBLE - Romans 8:3-4 NIV
“...And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.”
LET’S TALK
Moses had a remarkable understanding of God’s righteousness, revealed to him through the Law. In the book of Deuteronomy, his words reflect how deeply he valued what God had given Israel. He was amazed by the wisdom and justice of God’s commandments, saying, “And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day?” (Deuteronomy 4:8 NKJV).
To Moses, the Law was not a burdensome list of rules. It was a beautiful expression of the Father’s righteousness. In Deuteronomy 6:25 NKJV, he said, “Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us.” Later, in Deuteronomy 32:46–47 NKJV, Moses emphasized how essential the Word of God is to life itself: “Set your hearts on all the words which I testify among you today... for it is not a futile thing for you, because it is your life.” He saw God’s Word as something to hold onto, live by, and pass on to future generations.
The New Testament shows us the fulfilment of this truth. In Romans 8:3–4, we learn that the righteousness Moses spoke of has now been fulfilled in us—in Christ. When we walk according to the Spirit, God’s righteousness is made manifest. We’re no longer trying to live righteously by our own strength; we live out His righteousness by the power of the Holy Spirit.
As Christians, we’re ambassadors of God’s Kingdom. That means when you show up, righteousness shows up. When you enter a space, peace enters with you. When you’re present, joy can be experienced. You represent God’s Kingdom here on earth. Let this truth shape how you live each day: You’re an extension of God’s righteousness, peace, and joy to your world. Walk in that awareness with humility, boldness, and faith. Hallelujah!
